Allergies-A Common Disease Often Untreated

Spring time has arrived!  I really enjoy this time of year, but not all the allergy and sinus problems that come with it that affect many people. Before I get into my recommended remedy I want to clarify what allergies are and the common treatments.

Allergies are one of the most common and overlooked diseases in our country.  It's estimated that 1 out of every 5 people suffer from them.  It is actually a disease of the immune system that causes our body to overreact from allergens in the atmosphere.  A majority of people suffer from indoor and outdoor allergies.  This includes dust, mold, hay fever, pet dander, and pollen.  These enter the body mostly through the nose and lungs.

The most common treatments are the over-the-counter antihistamines and decongestants.  The antihistamines relieve the skin reactions as well as the sneezing, itching, and runny nose.  The decongestants relieve the stuffiness.  When you have allergies the membranes in the nose become swollen and decongestants shrink the membranes.

This disease is so common most people don't take it seriously.  They avoid medications or treatment because "It's just my allergies."  By not seeking treatment people then develop complications of sinus and ear infections, then they end up on antibiotics.

If you suffer from allergies I have some good news that won't send you to the drugstore or doctor's office.  I have had allergies since childhood.  They tend to flare up in the seasons of Fall and Spring.  I use to take over-the-counter treatments such and Tylenol Allergy Day/Night capsules, Benedryl, and Sinuses Headache pills.  Sure they helped, but I suffered side effects of energy increase with nervousness or energy decrease to the point where I needed to take a nap.  Then I started taking the multivitamin Vitaone from my home business company Vitamark International.  When I started using Vitaone I had been suffering from a severe sinus infection for about a week and hadn't been to the doctor yet.  After taking Vitaone for 3 days ALL my symptoms were gone!!  I could breathe through my nose again and the sinus headache was gone!  Not only that but I also had more energy though out the day without the jitters or nervousness.  I highly recommend this product to anyone who suffers from allergies.

If you are looking for a remedy for your allegry symptoms I invite you to visit my website http://www.margaretwilson.vitamark.com/vitaone/ .  The product comes with a 30 day money back guarantee.

Uric Acid Defined and Natural Remedies

Uric Acid is a mixture of blood and urine and is the result of nucleic acid metabolism.  It is an organic substance that is present in the human body.  The normal levels of this acid range from 3/6mg/dL to 8.3mg/dL.  There are many health conditions associatied with uric acid if the levels are too low or too high.  The most common conditions are gout (formation of solid crystals in the joints) and kidney stones (formation of solid crystals in the kidneys).

So you may be asking yourself "What can I do to make sure my levels stay within the normal range"? Here are some natural remedies you may find helpful.

1.  Reduce consumption of shellfish and organ meats
2.  Drink plenty of water
3.  Avoid alcoholic beverages
4.  Eat foods which contain antioxidants and anti-inflammatory benefits (cherries)
5.  Taking Vitamin C helps the urinary removal of the acid
6.  Eat plenty of fruits
7.  Parsley is a diuretic and assists the body in removal
8.  Taking Vitamin B Complex actually converts the acid into compounds and reduces the level in the body
9. Avoid high protein foods (red meat, game, some fish)
10 Avoid high fatty foods (broth, offal, legumes, poultry)

By following these simple remedies and maintaining an all around healthy diet, your uric acid levels should stay with in the normal limits.

I also market a product called Limu Plus which is a healthy supplement that helps the body stay internally healthy! Click the link to find out more info.
